Who we are
This Privacy Policy describes how WizKidz Global ("WizKidz," "we," "us," or "our") processes personal data when you use AI For Kids Shop at aiforkids.shop and related WizKidz Ecosystem services operated by Walden Katsande.

What data we collect
Depending on how you use our products and school operations tools, we may process:
- Account and contact data — such as name, email address, school or organisation affiliation, and login identifiers for adult accounts (teachers, school staff, parents, or operators).
- School staff and ops data — information you or your school provide for campus licensing, rostering, teacher workspaces, and related school administration features.
- WhatsApp Cloud API message metadata — when we use Meta WhatsApp Business / Cloud API for school operations messaging (for example delivery status, timestamps, phone numbers used for business messaging, and similar service metadata). Message content you send or receive through WhatsApp may also be processed as needed to provide those school-ops communications.
- Payment-related tokens — references and tokens from payment processors so we can confirm purchases and fulfil digital products. We do not store full card numbers on our systems; card data is handled by the payment providers.
- Technical and usage data — such as device or browser type, IP-derived region signals, and basic site analytics needed to operate and secure the service.
Why we use data
We process personal data to:
- Provide and improve AI For Kids Shop products, downloads, and learning tools.
- Operate WhatsApp Business messaging for teacher and school operations (support, access, and institutional communications when enabled).
- Process orders, deliver digital licences, and respond to support requests.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and meet legal or contractual obligations.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only as needed to run the service, with processors and platforms such as:
- Meta / WhatsApp — for WhatsApp Business Cloud API messaging and related Meta platform services when those channels are used.
- Vercel — hosting and application infrastructure for aiforkids.shop and related apps.
- Sanity — content and product catalogue / CMS storage used to operate the shop and related records.
- Payment providers — to process payments and issue payment tokens (we do not store card numbers ourselves).
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information if required by applicable law or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users and our services.
Retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above — for example while an account or school relationship is active, while a purchase or licence must be fulfilled or audited, or as required for legal, security, and dispute-resolution periods. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable time, subject to backups and legal holds.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to personal data we hold about you, correction of inaccurate data, or deletion of personal data. Children
Our educational products are designed for learners ages 0–17, but messaging and shop accounts are for adults — teachers, school staff, and parents or guardians. We do not create child accounts for WhatsApp Business messaging or similar adult-operated channels. Parents and schools remain responsible for how learning materials are used with children.
International transfers
We operate from Rwanda and may use infrastructure and processors in other countries (including providers such as Meta, Vercel, Sanity, and payment processors). Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards available under applicable law and the contractual terms of those providers.
